It’s all a bit crazy here as my girls and I whizz off to Cumbria tomorrow (Aug 17th) to visit my parents, so there’s always lots of crazy packing and decisions on what clothes to take, should they take toys, how many Beanie Boos will the Teeny one want? And so it goes on!
Course for me it’s all about how much work I can take, how much realistically will I get to do, how many extra projects will I take with the dream of getting them done? Let’s just say I have been known to fill a WHOLE suitcase up and then not even get 2 rows done!
I will, however, this time be taking those gorgeous Rainbow Fusions socks with me to finish off and have in mind some small amounts of yarn to turn into some smaller items to list on Etsy during the coming week! Also if you caught my Facebook Live in my group on Sunday I showed some tiny mini skeins I have of some wool I plan in turning into a nappy cover, so do keep you eyes open for those!
I’m So Lucky!
I am so happy to get the chance to go and visit another beautiful part of the UK where I have some lovely supportive family who I don’t see nearly enough, and to have my 3 gorgeous girlies who get to come and share it with me. We don’t get much chance to explore far when we’re there, it’s never for more than a long weekend, as my parents are in their 80’s and not up for much adventuring! However, the 5 hour train journey there and back, along the gorgeous Settle to Carlisle line, is always a great adventure for the 4 of us (Mr I2K sometimes joins us, but this time he’s working and will hopefully feed the cat).
One Last Thing – Giveaway Time
One last thing before I go today. I have announced my Facebook group August group giveaway this evening. Here is a sneaky peak of what that is, but do check over there and enter.
Thank you for reading, do click over on the subscribe button to receive emails so you can stay updated and on Friday I’ll be sharing all the Ready to Ship items I’ve listed this week on Etsy. Lots of Made to Order listings too, but Friday will always be about what I’ve got ready to go.
